If you’re apartment hunting near ASU and considering Rambler, you might be wondering how you can tour the property before move-in. That’s why we’re excited to now offer hard hat tours –so you don’t have to wait until construction is complete to see your future home.
In this guide, you’ll learn exactly what to expect during your hard hat tour, what to wear, and how to prepare so you can make the most of your visit.

Requirements for appropriate dress include:
- Shirts with sleeves
- Long pants (no dresses, skirts or shorts)
- Sturdy, closed-toe shoes.
Upon arrival to the site, we will provide safety clothing, including:
- Hard hat
- Safety vest
- Safety glasses/goggles
- Cut-resistant gloves
Before Your Tour
Before heading to Rambler for your tour, we recommend reading these tips to make sure your experience is safe and enjoyable.
- Timing – The tour will last approximately one hour.
- Dress Accordingly – As mentioned above, since we will be on an active construction site, we require you to wear shirts with sleeves, long pants (no dresses, skirts or shorts), and sturdy, closed toe shoes.
- Parking – You can park in available spots at the Carmin retail parking garage (located next to Rambler), or there are parking lots and street parking available nearby.
- Temperature – Please be prepared for outside temperatures during the tour.
- Photo ID – To ensure security, we require each person who is touring to provide a valid photo ID. Be sure to bring your driver’s license, passport or other form of photo ID.
- No Pets – While we love pets and can’t wait for them to move-in, they can’t be brought on the tour. Please, leave your pup at home.
- Safety Clothing – As mentioned above, it is mandatory to wear a hard hat, safety vest, safety goggles, and gloves. These will all be provided upon arrival.
You’ll meet our leasing team at the front of the Rambler site, by the entrance on the left of the building, at the time of your scheduled tour. Here you can ask any questions and discuss your preferences for your ideal apartment. It’s best to come prepared with a list of questions to help personalize your tour and create a more timely experience.

Touring the Property
Once you arrive at Rambler, you and the leasing staff will start in the lobby with a welcome and brief community overview.
We will then walk through the parking garage, mail rooms, leasing office and Daydreamer on the first floor.
Next, we will head to the second floor to view our study mezzanine, media rooms and study pods. Afterward, we will visit the 14th floor to explore the yoga studio, wellness amenities, fitness center, clubroom and rooftop pool deck.
Finally, we will have the opportunity to view a couple of units, based on the floorplans you’re interested in on the fifth floor as well as the courtyard space and secondary pool.
We’ll end in the clubhouse, where we will wrap up with a summary and answer any follow-up questions you might have after the tour.
Applying and Signing Your Lease
Once you’ve toured the site and are ready to take the next step, it’s time to start your application and secure your unit. The application should take you about ten minutes to complete and you can complete it on site so you can ask the Rambler team any questions you might have. It can also be completed later on your own if you would prefer.
When you finish the application, you’ll be prompted to sign your lease. Read through it as you sign and ask questions as you go. Once you’ve signed the whole lease agreement, you’re a future Rambler resident!
Touring an apartment under construction can feel intimidating at first, especially if you’ve never experienced a hard hat tour before. Now that you know exactly what to expect you can arrive confident and prepared.
